Two score years (four decades) ago, I was introduced to Mr. Gygax's creation. D&D has been my hobby ever since. Some men had bowling night, poker night and Monday Night football; I had D&D. Somewhere along the way I got married (twice!) and have been the father to seven wonderful kids, both wives play (one even DMs), five of the seven kids play. Am I fanatic or a rules lawyer? No, I enjoy the game for the camaraderie and stories that are at its core.
